NYUK Skinner with Black Palm scales
Here we have a nice skinner type blade made from3/16” 1084 high carbon steel. This was differential quenched to produce a slight hamon on the bevels and then acid etched in ferric chloride. The handle scales are made from stabilized Black Palm and affixed with 3/16” stainless steel pins. The sheath is made from 8-9 oz. veg tan leather dyed Golden Brown and stitched with Brown 1.0 tiger thread. A comfortable loop is on the back to wear from the belt. Dimensions are as follows:
Total length: 7 1/2”
