NYUK EDC Scout with Natura Micarta scales - 1095
This little blade is sure to fit into any pack, on your belt, or in your car. When you need it, it is there for you. Made from 1/8” 1095 high carbon steel this blade has been ground to a full flat grind. The handle scales are made from natural micarta and have been sanded to 220 grit. Not too rough and not too smooth. Just enough to ensure a good grip. For those who need really extra grip then a few swipes with some heavy grit sandpaper to rough up those edges and you are good to go. The scales have been fixed using 3/16” solid brass pins. This comes with a leather sheath made from 8 oz. veg tan leather, been dyed Dark Brown, and stitched with 1.0 brown Ritz tiger thread. The edges of the sheath have been burned down to a glass shine.
A perfect weight and length for those who need a good blade but want to keep the weight to a minimum.
