NYUK EDC Scout with double dyed box elder burl scales
This EDC Scout is one that you are sure to enjoy. By using natural wood that has figure to it each blade is guaranteed to be unique. Made from 1/8” 1095 high carbon steel this blade has been ground to a full flat grind. The handle scales are made from stabilized Double Dyed Box Elder Burl and has been hand sanded to 1500 grit as well as buffed to a high shine. The scales have been fixed using 3/16” stainless steel pins. This comes with a leather sheath made from 8 oz. veg tan leather, been dyed using Royal blue and Green dye and patterned to match the handle scales. The edges of the sheath have been burned down to a glass shine.
A perfect weight and length for those who need a good blade but want to keep the weight to a minimum.
