NYUK EDC Scout with Natural Micarta scales and brass pins
This little blade is sure to fit into any pack, on your belt, or in your car. When you need it, it is there for you. Made from 1/8” 1095 high carbon steel this blade has been ground to a full flat grind. The handle scales are made from natural micarta and have been sanded to 220 grit. Not too rough and not too smooth. Just enough to ensure a good grip. For those who need really extra grip then a few swipes with some heavy grit sandpaper to rough up those edges and you are good to go. The scales have been fixed using 3/16” brass pins. This comes with a leather sheath made from 8 oz. veg tan leather, is not dyed by has been treated with 100% Neatsfoot oil, and stitched with 1.0 brown Ritz tiger thread. The edges of the sheath have been burned down to a glass shine. This sheath comes with the brass snap for the belt loop. If you prefer a stitched loop let me know and we can work something out.
