This EDC Scout has handle scales that will draw you in. By using natural wood that has figure to it each blade is guaranteed to be unique. Made from 1/8” PRO CUT high carbon steel this blade has been ground to a full flat grind. The edges have been sharpened to 2000 grit and is hair splitting sharp. This NEW high carbon steel is produced with the coordination of Pop’s Knife Supply and Dr. Larrin Thomas (the undisputed guru of metallurgy). The handle scales are made from stabilized Artic Curly Birch and has been hand sanded to 1500 grit as well as buffed to a high shine. The scales have been fixed using 3/16” solid brass pins. This comes with a leather sheath made from 8 oz. veg tan leather, been dyed Golden Brown, and stitched with 1.0 Ritz tiger thread. The edges of the sheath have been burned down to a glass shine. This sheath has been made with a solid brass snap for the belt loop. If you prefer a stitched belt loop, let me know and we can work something out.
