Here we have a leather skiving knife used to thin down the edges of leather. The blade itself is made from 3/16” 1095 high carbon steel and is a total of 8” long with the blade being 4” and the handle being 4” as well. The handles scales are made from Brown Mallee and fixed with 3/16” brass pins. The bevel is steep and ends with a 0 degree bevel, meaning that there is no secondary bevel. This thing is sharp so use caution when handling. It also comes with a protective sheath to keep the edge protected when not in use.
